Before becoming a principal consultant with Mid-continent Research for Education and Learning (McREL), Salle Quackenboss spent twenty-five years as a classroom teacher, building administrator, and district-level administrator. At McREL, a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to improving education, Ms. Quackenboss focuses on helping schools make decisions that are intentional and encourage student achievement. She has also done work in developing and implementing standards-based systems in many educational areas, including leadership, professional development, assessment, and instruction.
Ms. Quackenboss holds two M.S. degrees, one in educational administration and one in early childhood/special education, as well as a B.S. in early childhood education.
